Putting the Pencil Down

I'm sure like many of you, the Wraith is an amazing money pit. After this latest set up upgrades, I'm putting the pencil down and not upgrading anything more.

I had kicked around the idea of a Wroncho, but I think I like the classic lines and shape of the cage. During the Gmade MT 2202 tire review, I dropped another $600 into the truck - ugh. That said, it runs very well but it's the end of the modification road.

The Team Garage Hack 2.Low and Castle Copperhead 10 / 1900 kV Slate motor combo is a nice upgrade and worth looking into. The 30% overdrive seems to help pull the front up and over technical rocks quite well.

Nice, I am running the same combo in mine, and love it enough wheel speed to get in trouble, yet tons of low-end power and good resolution. I am running only a mild UD in the rear, and it does help dramatically, I can't imagine a 30% OD.

I think I only have $650 total into mine including the original purchase price.

I love my Wraith, it's quite underrated imo. I've got about a 28% OD just from the Axial gears in the axles and it climbs like a goat. I've sunk a bunch of $$ into mine as well, though it doesn't really need a ton of cash to perform. I was a sucker for those beautiful BGR parts... But it's well worth it. :)
