Proline Hyrax vs KM2 vs KM3

I have Proline Hyraxs on my crawler, they perform great, just they don't look terribly scale.

I've pretty much worn through them, so I need a new set of tires. I've heard the proline KM2 and KM3 perform pretty well, so I'm trying to decide between them.

I know the KX and KM3 are "worse" than the Hyrax, but I'm willing to shave a bit of performance for a more scale look.
I would prefer the KM3, the KX tread is too large IMO, but if the KX has a noticeably better performance difference from the KM3, I guess I'll go with the KX.

What are the performance differences between the Proline KX and KM3s? I'm run on a lot of rocks and hard dirt, thoughts?

Did you mean KO2? I think the only KM2's are from Axial. EDIT: never mind RC4WD has them now.

What about the Krawler T/A's? those are one of my favorites performance wise. I prefer the Krawlers to the KM3's but I run rock mostly.

Isn't the KO2 considerably smaller than the KM3? And with less aggressive lugs.
I like the KM3 the most (maybe because I have them in predator compound), and as mentioned above the KX Krawlers are fantastic.
I haven't tried Hyrax, but I think the others look so much better.
If you tend to wear out tires fast, maybe g8 is a better choice than predator?
(btw, I think I'm the only one in the world who use the Proline KR2)

Just for fun, I think Bfgoodrich goes like this. Correct me if I'm wrong.
T/A: traction advantage
KO: all terrain
KM: mud terrain
KX: crawler
KR: racing

If you're crawling mostly rock the BFG Krawlers are the most similar to the Hyrax in traction and performance. In some situations like damp or sandy rock they're actually better than the Hyrax I've found because of having more surface area per lug.

For rock and hard dirt, both should be perfect. More importantly, which compound do you choose?

I usually go G8 for all of my non comp rigs, Predator wears out too fast IMO, and the extra bit of grip isn't worth it.

Im an expert at this stuff. I have 2 weeks of crawling experience. The best tires you can get are traxxas canyon trails. They look real and perform great. My advice is totally free. You're welcome [emoji16][emoji106][emoji106][emoji854]

I would just pick the one you instinctively like the most. They're both amazing. You would be happy with both of them, I'm sure :) Performance wise, I think you should rather philosophise on what foam to use, rather than which of these tires.
