Does anyone fly with their trucks and stuff to get there? Do they have any rental trucks, I could come up with a work/business trip idea to the region but would have a difficult time bringing my stuff in that scenario?

I mean rental RC's. I'd be flying in to LAX for actual rental cars. Last time I was in San Diego for instance, SDRC had rental Slash's that served the purpose. That said, reading up that thread referenced above, seems not a big deal to travel with one. Keep it to one of my simple standard vehicles for reliability. Or heck, swing by a hobby shop in area, grab a decent RTR for the weekend and just have some fun and ship the carcass back home when I am done. Problem solved.

Thanks.

Flying with RCs is easy. Lithium batteries have to go in your carry on. I put them in a lipo bag. I have a Rigid case from Home Depot that is the perfect size for a truck, radio, basic tools, parts, and a small charger but I have also just crammed all that stuff in a suitcase with my clothes.
