Looks good Todd, i think they would look and work best with the opened up lugs on the outside though.

edit: just realized you are going to cut and blend both sides, still, gonna look awesome!

Nice! Thats got to be one of the smoothest blending/trim jobs Ive seen.:shock:

Are you just trimming with scissors and sanding them down with a dremel barrel?

Thanks guys. I'm gonna cut all the small lugs out and possibly groove the large ones. I can't wait to see how they work with just the small lugs removed. Definitely a time consuming task. I'm clipping them off with some small snips then blending them with a small wire wheel on the dremel. They aren't as neat as I would like but should get the job done.
 
Sounds good...the mounts that Michael and I were making for our rigs...he made the first ones...were just attached to one side of the shock mount and one screw on the transmission. They were just thin pieces of aluminum sheet we cut up and bent the tabs down. They don't have to be FANCY...just have to do their job "thumbsup"
