Looks like we need to get a 1:1 weekend together. Go camp and wheel!

HELL YES WE DO! Itll be November before I can get out on the trail though. Between our comp this weekend, and a trip for Becky's bday the next weekend the next opportunity is the weekend of Oct. 29-30.

Anybody game for that weekend? If so I need to get busy making sure my rig is ready to go...got some welding and some electrical issues to work out...shouldn't take more than an evening or two in the shop though. "thumbsup"

Well hopefully we get to go out monday to a local spot in asheville, nc area "thumbsup" Its a perfect place to test out ur rig and not get into any real danger. Wish you were closer Ryan!!!

And yes those dang windows are killing me :twisted:

Thanks for all the compliments guys. And yes a weekend of 1.1 crawling, camping, drinking..... Hell yeah, woooooooooo!!!!!!"thumbsup"

Sounds like a blast...can't wait for it to happen! I'm looking forward to helping you throw some new gears in it and get that cage put together like you want.

Speaking of the cage...have you considered running a "simple" exo of sorts that just connects the rear hoop up and over the doors and down just in front of the doors to the sliders. Then cross braces below the windshield and above...possibly an X or V above the cab.

This is kinda what I'm trying to describe...

Dont think ill have my truck ready by the end of October, What about Nov 19-20? Give us all time to get our rigs ready and make plans. URE or Gulches are pretty local to all of us. I really want to get my Bronco back on the trails!

I'll skip the trip to URE...not worth the fuel in my opinion...I'm up for Gulches though especially since it's cooling down. I can't stand that place in the summer...all the dust combined with sitting in direct sun is no fun...and not easy on the rigs either!

Well I think we should just have a big cage building party at Ryans house!! So I can take this.....

and put a cage in it like this minus the tubes sticking out behing the doors. I am ready for it!!

That's the weekend of the turkey crawl.

YEP it is...Nate you should drive over for the Turkey Crawl...there's gonna be some great scaler action on Friday and I'm sure there'll be more on Saturday and Sunday!!! Have you looked at the thread for the event?

I also forgot to mention that if ya'll want cages I'm assuming you want 1.75" tubing...get together and buy a set of pro-tools 1.75 dies cuz all I have is the 1.5 dies at this point. If ya'll do that I'll bend up whatever you want...

check with mikegreen4x4.com for the dies...he's who I bought all my stuff from...great prices and quick service

and travis...I recommended www.lowrangeoffroad.com for the parts we were talking about...just wanted to make sure you remembered the site! "thumbsup"

So if me and Derrick buy the dies, you will buy the tubing and bend it, weld it, and build it. Heck you have a deal.:lmao:
