Easly, who did your cage work? I need something along those lines but not trying to spend 300 bucks on it. I might be putting the chevy body out to pasture if I can get this hacked up rover looking right.

I bought my scaler used, but the tube work was done by r2j customs. Another member asked about it, and he contacted r2j customs and I think is was going to be around $250. But I think that is for a true truggy like mine is, you may be able to get it cheaper if you do somthing that mounts to the frame rails."thumbsup"

rpp has a full body set for the honcho including bed, for 27 in the salvage yard. also today i had an idea for a set of rear axle weights, but was wondering how hard it is to cast lead or pewter?

I'm not real sure what your looking for, but i've seen a couple rigs use the proline roof rack on the frame rails, it does'nt look to bad either. Just a thought.

Hell Im not real sure either. Just kinda tired of the flatbed look I had on the chevy and wanna change it up. Ive seen some decent deals in the FS section so next time a body/cage combo shows up I'll probably snag it. Who knows I may unload the berg and go full out TTC.

Prob. wouldnt want to spend more than about $150 on some cage work. But packing up the truck and sending it to someone and then paying the shipping back is not really something I wanna do either. Wishful thinking I guess.

Ha. Ive been eying that one. Cant figure out why but it looks a lil off to me. Hell, I may just stick and add in the wanted section and if nothing stands out I'll scoop up that Yota.

The shocks need limiting internally to adjust the ride height. They bottom out on my piggy. Other than that I am loving them. As far as flipping them goes, this was my inspiration for using them this way. Anybody recognize it??"thumbsup"

I understand as to why you did it on the scaler but just to inform:flipoff: Ryan's full-size is running twin-tube shocks, Body Down. Reason being it doesn't matter if the body of a twin-tube gets a small ding or dent in it, the shock oil can still flow and the piston can cycle, on a Mono-Tube, which is what the scale shocks are made to look like; if the body on those takes a hit, the piston cant cycle and the shock is more or less a bumpstop trying to rip the mounts off the frame. True stuff.
