Projects

I did some tinkering on Frankenstein. Need to order some parts to get it in rolling, then start work on building the body and bed.

Current project I'm working on. Chassis was done by mcrawlinslow and I'm fabbing the shock mounts, steering servo and winch servo mounts and the rear bumper plus gonna try my hand at making the interior for it. Sitting on Wraith widthe axles. Its running a full DDK kit with Pro4/MMP power, probably on 3S. All this is hopefully gonna be enjoyed by my girlfriend . Here's a few pics of the wheel/tire combos plus ride heights. The last picture has the final wheelbase pretty much set along with the wheel/tire combo she picked out...

Ok, I did a little clearing out today. I have 2 Axial transmitters, an Axial 3 channel receiver, and a Wraith rear axle. If anyone needs any of these items let me know. NO offers will be refuse, unless of course the particular item is already gone.

The axles are gone. Thanks Brooks.

Any one out there have a TRA 7062? It is a rebuild kit for 1/16 shocks.

Sent from me using my DNA

Here's a few of the projects I've been cranking on.

The R1
It was crawling really well (yeah, more than a bit surprised at that) but I didn't change the gearing and I smoked the motor I was running in it. Can ya say dumbass??

The Big Bear
My brother was the original owner, passed it down to me when I was 12 or so. It's still so much fun.

Well I started this project last month...

1.9 Hilux on Wraith axles

BUT.....

A drunk driver took out Jeremy and the "Pony" on his way home from work

Now we have a new PROJECT....

Damn, Jeremy OK? Got any more pics of the hilux?

Thanks for asking Travis. "thumbsup"

He's fine, hurt his wrist and thumb when the truck struck the rim and yanked the steering wheel. He's just heartbroken form the loss of the car. He got a pre-bent cage for Christmas and has a 2.3 turbo motor setting on the engine stand that he bought.

No other pics or progress as of right now. Been working 13 hour days and dealing with insurance. I will say this USAA is some sorry insurance to deal with in a total loss situation. Freaking idiots.....

Glad he's OK. He'll be over his first car as soon as he gets another one."thumbsup"

Oh the last 2 pics I posted is the new ride. "thumbsup" Now I just gotta finance all the upgrades for it. He's had it one show already, got one at Pro-Dyno on March 15th, and he's already got his spot for Autofair with the Mustang club he's in.

Pro Dyno huh? I've had the magnum on those rollers. Lol. Small world. Sorry to see the carnage. Glad he's ok.

Did some work on the class 1 jeep. I used xr10 rear lockouts to narrow my scx10 axle about a half inch which was perfect for the jeep.

Dam those things are huge!

They measure out right at 6"

I don't have anything to put them on yet but it was a great deal on what appears to be an awesome set of tires.

I may have to put a set of Wraith axles under my Hawaiian Truggy now...or get Cyrus to come off that Yoder!

I brought a spare skid and the trans with me to work today and I think the trans is going to work with a little Dremel work.
