The axle of real Rock Bug has big skid plate.
And links composition are orthodox 4 link system.

Upper link mount was brazed.

Next, skid plate was installed.

My original steering system was installed. "thumbsup"
This appearance is same as Hydraulic Steering systems of real cars.

Front axle was finished.

Lower side.

Upper side.
Steering limit is 45 degree.

That looks like a hydraulic, but inside mechanisms are different. :mrgreen:

OMG! This axle build is off the wall! This would compliment my build perfectly. How much would it cost to build another set? Just the plain mini spider 9. I can braze on all the other mounts. Truly a work of art!

I'm really happy.

However, I'll not start to sell my axle because 2 reasons.
One is very expensive production cost. If you order the factory to make all parts of this axle, you need more than $1000 / one axle. For example in my case, cutting diff case by a milling machine needs $600. Fruition is impossible.
Another is my motivation. I'm not interested in sale because my profession is always busy. Keeping production time is difficult.

Rear axle with steering lock was ready, too. "thumbsup"

1/16 Slash's tranny was chose.
It's really small compared with AX10's.

Tranny was ready.

Motor layout is front midship same as real Rock Bug.
