Well, thanks a lot. Now I have no reason not to get my drag car back up and running. It has been boxed for about 5yrs now or more. I ran it back when I lived in San Anotnio during the college yrs. No ESC just a microswitch. Gotta find the axle, I think it's further down in the box-o-junk I have under my workbench.

The chassis is some high dollar carbon composite stuff I found, I can't remember the name but it was carbon fiber with some type of air core or hollow core in the middle. It was trick stuff back in the day. Very light weight. Very strong as well.

The original chassis is from an old Hyperdrive H10SE. I re-drilled the top and bottom plates so that the weight of the axle/motor and tires were centered. Orginally everything was offset. The 3-way shock helped a little with lauch keeping this from sliding out too bad. It took some getting used to. I never did get the cool front tires they had, need to find some. They looked like true prostock front runners.

Yah, might have to styrene a fox body. All the straight edges would make it a little easier. I'll put it on the list.....
