After a couple months my Yeti rear shocks were leaking(Axial Alum.). I bought some Pro-line power stroke XT shocks but I don't have a clue on how much oil to use. I have some 35W silicone oil-is that a reasonable starting point?

1. amount of oil in cc
2. viscosity of oil(weight) It's getting pretty warm here in N. CA

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Glenn

35 wt is perfect bid recommend 30-40 wt personally. The amount to put in can vary a lil depending on how much rebound you set them @. Best thing to do is watch some videos about it. Make sure you let the air bubbles rise before you put the caps on too.

30wt is good starting point for oil. Fill them mostly full, GENTLY move the piston up and down to get the air out and then let them sit, add a bit more oil, push the shafts all the way in, top off oil almost level with top of shock, screw the cap on while holding the shaft in, wipe off excess oil and you're done.
