pro4031_zpsd099f92e.jpg

you can see where the screw heads are going to be once plate is brazed to frame, but I'm not sure if I want to open up channels for screw heads to pass clean....or braze that plate to bottom of frame, then use button head screws....

pro4032_zps50f1a3fa.jpg

then braze plate to bottom like this....

pro4033_zps5a0fbd2b.jpg

that is where I'm at as of now, soon as I can get front diff attached down to frame i'll know where to make and put trans/motor plate to frame....

I'm not bringing my drill press, bench grinder, vise with bender and what ever hand tool's i'll need....besides that I'm not going to let anything fuk up my nice table :flipoff: ....

Nice work! It's a shame that RC4WD isn't making parts for the Hardcore truck anymore but I love the homemade front end. Can't wait to see more progress on this!

yeah I think when they came out with the alum wraith centered axle housing the hard core fell to the wayside....besides stock parts for the wraith are better then there hardcore axle which I was looking at until there wraith centered shown up....

pro4040_zpsa4b2058b.jpg

I like these springs, they just hold the parts together without any over pressure being applied "thumbsup" ....think i'll look at stores for more of them in different sizes....

I was thinking with all this nice tube work, I should leave the body clear to view it better as I'm racing past the drivers stand "thumbsup" ....

pro4041_zpsbd6b5886.jpg

I also cut out all the windows for better air flow and to avoid any parachute affect....

Man you've made some major progress since I've last been here! It looks amazing man, keep up the great work!

yeah I just like doing stuff like this, keeps my mind busy and alert at 52 "thumbsup" ....you seen the alum pan I was going with at 1st, then thought heck lets do this all tube....weather will be in the low to mid 40's the next few days as well, stay tuned cause I ordered my RC4WD rear wraith centered axle housing from RPP ;-) ....
