Thanks dude. You'd think I like rovers or something, lol. Which is the 'rangie', the classic?
The white classic is a lexan body but I added lots of styrene details (grille, tailgate, lower skirting). The lexan body is by Frewer out of New Zealand.

The Range Rover Sport is from a Newbright toy, now discontinued, just like the LR3. Someone on Scale4x4rc is selling a NIP one right now for $75. They're hard to find, which is why when I did find them again a while back I picked up two more spare bodies. One is complete, the other is missing a few pieces (and cracked grille). They pop up for sale on rare occasion.

lol...I'm a land rover fan too. I have a 04 D2 which has been my hobby for a while but it's getting really xpensive ( wifey's not happy bout it) So I turned my hobby to scale land rovers. I must say though...This is very addicting. 24-7 my brain is just full of " what should I do next?" lol

There are so much things you can do with these scale crawlers more than what I can do with my 1:1 D2. Parts are everywhere and it's so easy to get. I think I need some kind of meds to stop the craving on building these things. lol

Question...How many scale rigs do you have?

3 running rigs at the moment
-LR3 cc01
-Range Rover Sport
-Hilux crew cab (my 7 yr old drives this usually)

3 of my own projects under construction
-Ford extended cab (styrene chassis experiment)
-Ford pick up cc-01
-Sequoia cc-01 sas

Its addicting...I've sold off quite a few already...

Nice ones! And you're local too. We should get a Land Rover run together, lol. There are a couple other local LR's...

Soft tops for your D-90s

Hello.

Nice work on your Defender 90s.

Can you please post some details on how you made the soft tops for the white and yellow trucks? I'm getting ready to start a SCX-10 build with the HPI D-90 body, and would also like to put some kind of top on the back.

Thanks!

Shambrick

I'll start with some old lexan rigs.
