Normally mini / micro crawlers aren't my thing, but after messing around with a friends SCX24 I decided to get a
couple from my LHS (his n hers basically). 8)

Didn't want to mess around with the USB chargers, I never seem to have luck with them charging properly, so I
made a JST-PH to Dean's adaptor to charge on my bench charger. At 1 amp too 30 min to do a balance charge so not
bad at all and atleast I know it's doing it right.

Time for a little garage crawling to test them out.....hey better than mall crawling I suppose??? :lmao:

Already ordered some HR brass knuckles and diff covers for both rigs. Not sure what else I'll do yet, may grease
the shocks and see how they are. If I don't like that I may order the HR shocks.

They are fun little rigs but I'm not a fan of working on them as much as driving. I do enjoy the course building and being able to run anywhere inside.
Looking forward to your progress on the 2

Picked this up on the side of the road yesterday, will be a nice addition to the little course I'm going to cobble together. Figure maybe I'll cut it in half length wise and have 2 tunnels and can build over them as well. It's 12" ID so plenty of room even cut in half, for these little rigs.

Good find, looks like there is a lot of possibilities there. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Added a few pieces of old concrete edging we had in the backyard and a few pieces of wood from some tree trimming we did. A course of all free stuff....lol

Made a few changes to the green Deadbolt (mine). First, I cut off the fake lights on top of the front crossbar, then flipped the bar upside down. I think I like this look alot better, certainly helps for getting under things without getting snagged on the lights.

Next, I decided to cut out and remove a few cage pieces at the rear to clean it up a bit. Also removed some of the decals, added some stars I had and painted the driver's helmet to match the green theme.

Just wanted to give it a little different look, rather than the "fresh out of the box" look. 8)

Nice I wish it would be possible to add some lights to the top of the deadbolt.
Ours fours hang up sometimes with the fake lights.

Could probably add like a 2" LED light bar or something.
I don't know if I have the skills to do that. Have debated adding lights to headlight body and keep the lights in the bumper. Might be enough light...
