I've decided to start a little write up on my new servo.

the brand is OMG (only manufacture golden)
Its a new smaller company, mainly started with helicopter servos, but now has a full line of high end surface options as well.

the servo I have is their brand new D3-ST-BF30S

Brushless, waterproof, HV, full aluminum case, titanium and stainless gears.
450oz @ .11 on 7.4v!

the packaging was very nice. included a small sticker sheet, 2 aluminum servo horns, and a pretty hefty plastic horn.

sofar from running around my backyard test area i am very impressed.

very quiet, compared to others I've used. almost no heat, SMOOTH, and very fast.

I have it pictured here on an axle mount, and on the Dlux sporty front truss.

Thanks for the new option. I am looking to get the DLux mount for my Wraith. What length arm do you need for it to work properly? Fyi, I have all VP links on my Wraith. Will the VP drag link work, or do I need a shorter one?

Thanks in advance!

yeah, if i break the case on this thing, something else is going with it.

as for the truss, 1" horns work fine. i did have to put some spacers under the servo to raise it. it hung too far below the axle tube.

the drag link is also shorter than stock. ill measure it and post here when i get home.

Well someone needs to do an actual load test to see what it takes to stall it. I am liking that it has decent speed.

Wha is the weight on your rig ? And also how "bound up" have you gotten this servo? Have you stalled it yet? I'm pretty hard on servos on my c3 rig........ Servos hate going onto that rig.Lol

my rig is 7.4lbs fully loaded. so ill give it a thrashing this weekend. tomorrow will be the first time on real trails.

Ive been running these on my tf2 and G6 honcho..
HDT064200L coreless
7.4v 315oz
speed.18

LDT062200B Digital brushless
6v 278oz
