Trail class is meant to get scale type rigs competing in competition style courses. It is meant to run all types of scale rigs, from box stock to highly modified. Currently, we are only running two classes, 1.9 and 2.2. Nationally there are sub sections to these classes, but due to the small turn out, and lack of competition staff, we will stick to running those two classes.

Trail class consists of 10 gate courses with 1-2 optional bonuses. Course time will be 5-6minutes. Rules and penalties will follow that of the USRCCA competition rules.
Penalties points and explanations can be found here in the OFFICIAL LINK:
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/rcca-rules/420729-2013-rules.html

Here are the vehicle regulations. They do apply for both classes:

Chassis:

-Chassis will be a stock rail, stock tube, custom tube, and TVP (twin vertical plate) is allowed for exception for Redcat rigs. NO competition style chassis allowed.
-All electronics (excluding servo) will be chassis mounted.

Vehicle weight/ Added weight:

-Knuckle weights are NOT allowed.
-Weight can be added in the wheels internally or externally.
-A weighted knuckle (Dlux V2 knuckle) is expectable.

Body:

-Bodies must be scale in appearance.
-Tube frame chassis must have a minimum of at least a roof, hood, and sidepanels.
-Hardbodies are allowed.
-NO competition style bodies

Tires:

-Scale tires only.
-NO competition or pin tires allowed.
-Tires can be sanded, siped, and trimmed.
-Cut and shut tires are allowed.

--Banned tire list--
Sedonas
Rovers
Voodoo pins
RC4WD pins
Losi boss claws
Chisels
Panthers (all types)

Wheels:

-Wheels must be either 2.2" or 1.9", no other sizes. They will be ran with the corresponding tire, and ran in the corresponding class.

Electronics:

-One motor limit
-No 4WS or Dig is allowed.
