Nluvwithxlr8ing's Axial SCX10 Build + Pro-Line Scale Accessories

I just ordered the same body to see if I wanted to use it or the regular version.
Pat

Actually they are for the ones who like instant gratification :ror:

So are you going to run the Chisels on this?

You would... :ror: Actually really curious to see how the M2 Flatirons compare to the G8 compound.

Nice servo, that should be MORE than enough.

Hey your work bench is pretty clean too."thumbsup"

I wish we would hurry up and get these trucks in stock so I can order one up. You look like a "PRO" so I will send it to you to build.

Not much longer...

He's probably trying to be like some other A-hole and get 10 pages before he really shows anything....I hate those guys.

I couldnt do that, just not that mean :ror:

I didn't even know that Proline was going to do the Flatirons in M2. They should ditch that and just do everything in the magical G8

As far as I know the SCX10 comes with M2 Flatirons. They actually dont feel that bad though

Ok pics!!

Masked off the interior for silver paint. Also printed out a Nor-Cal star for the paint scheme.

Painted the start with a brush to try a different effect. Came out ok. Much nicer than Harley's paintwork.

While the paint was drying I lowered the rear battery plate by removing the lower plastic piece that keeps the pack from sliding. With the low rear section of the CGR body the battery would have interfered.

With the black dry, I painted the inside of the body white, then removed the last part of the star for some keylime green. After that I cut the outside masking where I wanted it to be flat black, and left the masking for the silver to show through (backed the white with silver inside the body and removed the interior masking for the silver).
