O its suffering. But its because my time is being consumed by everything else not sleep.

I think I added 1"... I should have measured that. I will get a final WB measurement for ya.

It's not actually mine, built it for a client. I've got 2 more in the works to be built. I'll see if I can get some pics up.

Which body came with the diamond plate boxes behind the seats, the Scout or Blazer?

Actually both the Scout and Blazer have the diamond plate.

Thanks. Actually only thing I did was clean up the front bumper and build some new rear shock mounts. I didnt like the ones I made. The body does sit pretty low now. I had to cut holes in the bed for the shock hoops to come through.

Here is a pic of the Pro-Line front bumper cleaned up and mounted. Not sure yet if I want to run the rear bumper or make my own to fit the body a little better. Either way it will need a new mounting system.

The other issue I was fighting was the height of the body. Once I raised the rear to gain some center clearance the body was riding WAY too high for me. I had to cut some openings in the bed to let the rear shocks come through. Rough cuts:

Here is a pic of the rear body posts. I ended up moving them down 3 holes after this pic to get the body where I wanted it. Sorry still no pics of the shock mounts... I will get those up soon.

Yeah I need to make my own. I always enjoyed coming up with my own designs for bumpers. I am out of all my welding supplies now though :-(

Hey B., did you move the rear shock mounts back when you stretched the WB? I can see your rear shocks are at a bit of angle but mine looks worse then that at the stock location.. I tried moving the forward hoop chassis hole to the rear hole (and just drill a new rear) but that put the WB at 13.5" :shock: (rough guess)

Could just be me after spreading 1100lbs of concrete on a home course, i was a little tilted myself.. :lol:

Sounds like you are flying through your build already! The rear shock mounts are still in the stock location. All I did was make a new shock mounting location on top of the axle so its above centerline and slightly forward. Basically that effectively made the shocks longer so that helps with the angle.

Home course? :shock: I gotta see!
