Aluminum bits in the suspension department. Steering mechanism is a cheapo chinesium set, that is already failing. I intend to make something stronger with some steel and silver solder. Progress so far:

My finger tips got tired of the small bolts after a while. So I made a new "wrench" out of al Iong m3 bolt. I can ever screw on a "cheater bar" onto the end.

Droop and full compression with the body balancing/dangling on some 123 blocks.

Im thinking of either the newer TRD colors, or that burnt orange color. Body still needs some work on the hood. I already have reinforced the body with some cut up styrene.

Did a little bit of work, testing out how the parts fit i ordered off of Aliexpress. Links wont be staying, at least not the rod ends. The ends are really tight right now, but will develop slop being metal on metal "brass"? I think i may modify or make new brackets for the link mounts on the chassis, so the bolts go into all the links horizontally.

Fitted the aluminum No¹ motor mount "hidden" to a 3:1 reduction unit, that is fed by an first gen Holmes revolver from back in the 2000's.17164528536843025625218944252632.jpgUnsure of kv numbers on the motor, but I'll run it on 3s most likely.

I was shy of space, and some of the chassis got in the way.17164528320313400199326410379153.jpg

Out came the dremmel and after a bit of "zip zip" sounds it looked like this.17164528071747653362801472769235.jpg

So a few days ago or so I stumbled upon this image of an interior inside the body. I wonderScreenshot_20230804_193918_Chrome (1).jpg
Would the interior fit over the cc-01 chassis?Screenshot_20230804_193934_Chrome (1).jpg
Now the search for that begins.
