Hey guys just wanted to start build thread, because this Wraith is soon to become a money pit!

Now we all know what a stock RTR looks like, so I won't waste any time by posting a picture of that.

Here it is with it's first cage mod. Battery still in the back.

Here it is after 15 minutes of runtime. Pinion wasn't tightened down causing it to move up and down under torque creating this god-awful sound, immediately stopped to see what was wrong.

Sorry picture is blurry didn't let my GS4 focus. Spur was stripped in awkward patches, creating a loud clicking noise when driving. So it was down for 3 days while goodies shipped.

Goodies are here! Now I know people don't necessarily like Integy but I've used them in my SCT and have never had a part break, so I figured what the heck.

This damn bearing got stuck, so I bought Traxxas replacements, stock #5116.

Here it is with the shock mounts back to lower slightly. Also first run went amazing after the gears were installed.

Hmmm, seems I'm doing things RCers just don't do haha, first Integy, now Krylon Fusion For Plastic Black Paint. You would be surprised how many cases of beer I put out a night at my bar.

Here's how it sits now, even without a clear coat it still cleans up nice with a soft dry cloth all the dirt comes right off but I'll most likely do a clear. It's tipped plenty and high too, paint has yet to chip. Also did the front battery mod and ESC is now where battery used to be.

That's all for now.

Next up is:
STRC Knuckles
STRC CHubs
Universals
Steering linkages

Ordered STRC Knuckles & CHubs along with the universal axle set and a Golden Horizons Steering Link set. Will take pictures when they arrive and of course when installed.

Any suggestions on what I should do next?

Welcome to the board! Harvey has a great write up and a sticky up top with mods and how much they cost and which ones to do first. "Thumbs up"

Yea I'm doing a combo of the Bulletproof, Beginners and Budget builds of Harley's. I'm doing the $50 a week as well.

Will keep y'all updated.

Sorry guys, posting with pics a day later. So here we go.

Here we are! Everything was installed smoothly although I had some trouble with the bearing on the long axle shaft end it all came together well!

Next on the build:
CC BEC 10A
Savox SC 1230SG
Axial Link Set
MT Stamped RC4WD Beadlock Wheels
RC4WD Interco Super Swamper Tires

P.S. I am sorry for the angle of the photos, I am using TinyPic to upload them and I'll try to make sure this doesn't happen again on my next posts.

Truck was finished yesterday before I went into work.

Just took it for a spin and no more binding which made me feel good for just ordering the Universal Shafts. Along with no more slop in the steering and it felt solid.

I guess I could say the aluminum C-Hubs & Knuckles were for show right now since my knuckles and c-hubs were fine but I know eventually I would have needed them, plus I'm glad I did the steering links and c-hubs and knuckles all at once.

Now to see how long the servo holds up haha;)

Will be uploading pictures and videos of the truck hopefully later today as I am on my Galaxy S4 right now and I need my laptop to upload the HD pics and HD videos.

I just got done playing around in this sand pile next to a construction area a block away from my house since they're expanding my subdivision. Anyways truck did great! Even with the stock electronics and gearing I had loads of fun.

Next post I make should be the pictures and links to the videos when I upload them to YouTube.

Thanks guys for all the views but come on chime in for some advice or knowledge that y'all might have!

Yes sir I actually did the flipped lower mounts(just need to upload pics) and I'm thinking of getting the big bores but I've never filled shocks before and I wouldn't know how to bleed them or what weight.

Alright guys so I've done it again... damn GS4:flipoff:

Here the picture came out right but my videos came out sideways so if I rotate them the screen is mostly black and the picture is skinny.

<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=241q9eq" target="_blank"><img src="http://i39.tinypic.com/241q9eq.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
Here is is lowered after a sandy run. Love the way this thing performs!

All my videos are taking a while to upload so I'll upload the links as fast as I can.

Thanks guys!

Ok so YouTube fixed it... sorta. It auto-rotated them and now the video is skinny but if you watch in 1080p (GS4 records in that) it actually looks really good. But I'll know next time to hold my phone sideways.
