***NEW Venom Group CREEPER 2.2 Comp Crawler!!!

Thanks guys we are really excited to bring this crawler to you and from your comments I see its going in the right direction.

First kits should arrive early/mid December so just before X-mas. As for axle kits thats something to consider so we will look into that for you guys that asked about it.

Chris

I'd like to see a top down body off pic, it would help me figure out what kind of room there is to work with battery mounting etc."thumbsup"

Whats the estimated price on the remote locking kit?

ok this is not cool i had put a thread of this up yesterday and it has mysteriously gone up in smoke i would like a anwers!!!!!!!.

someone has deleted my thread.

Not me...lol but the moderators probably didnt want double posts/threads.

ok ok i see, and seeing you are from venom lol i get it now i am just some ass from Quebec. lol

Now I dunno whether to upgrade my AX10, or save the dosh for one of these. I need those diffs! :-P

Some questions for Chris or Alex -
What is the ground clearance under the pumpkins?
What material is used for the chassis vertical plates?
Are the wheel weights included in the kit?
What is the gear ratio of the diff ring & pinion gears?

Thanks guys. And well done Venom, looks good to me. "thumbsup"

The distance from the underside to the ground on the pumpkin is 1.375in with soft tires and 1.50in with hard tires.
The plates are aluminum.
Wheel weights not included. They come in a set of 24pcs and in 1.3oz or 2.5oz sets.
Ring and pinion ratio is 3:1.

@Themerc64
Since your in the area get in touch with me and Alex and we have a couple other guys here we can make up a small meet sometime.

Your thread was posted 4 days after this thread, your thread provided exactly 0 new info, your thread only had 1 reply to it, which was a link to this thread.

A mod deleted it, as he should have.

Maybe you should have used the search feature then you would have seen this post and then you wouldn't have had your post deleted...........

The way the shocks mount is real interesting. I definately will be getting one to run with my other crawlers..................."thumbsup"

looks like a plate could be made on the rear axle for a LiPo pack, but other than that it looks likethere's only room for the stick pack up top.

What exactly is the controlling system for the remote diffy locks? A servo activated cable or hydrulics of some sort? I like the rig, it looks very promising.

With a smaller lipo pack of your choice, for example a 2S 3200 Black Lipo pack from us or smaller, and with wheel weights if needed the CG is so low that there is no need to place the running pack(s) on the axles . You can also add up to 1lb per wheel up front or all around, thats way more beneficial than any Lipo pack weight would ever be. So if you run the smallest Lipo pack you can and add weights as you like and tune the shocks for the ride height you need then you'll have a comp ready set up. An 1800 or 2100mah pack is ideal and the tranny is very efficient so run times are very long "thumbsup"
The chassis accepts up to 4 additional servos so 2 can be dedicated to diff locking and 2 can do....:?: The Creeper uses a cable to lock/unlock the diffs.
