Hey i am new to rc, well anything hobby grade, i got an ax10 scorpian used it for about 3 hours and now it doesnt respond to remote, it started acting up before it quit , it would delay going forward. any help would be greatly appreciated

First let's eliminate the obvious. Have you charged the battery and tried new batteries in the remote?

Have you checked the wires plugged into the reciever to make sure they have not come loose?

Any pinched wires, especially the antenna wire?

Battery is fully charged and the batteries in the remote are fine and all wires seem fine and checked all connections

By delay going forward, do you mean it'll jump from forward to reverse instantly, but then to go back forward, you have to pull the trigger twice? Because mine's done that since day one, completely normal if you're running the AE-1 ESC. (and I have switched it around so the delay's on the other side, not a good idea, Dude)

If you have the newer AE-2 ESC, I believe you can buy the Castle Creations CastleLink, and program that out. (I don't have an AE-2, so I can't accurately vouch for those rumors)

As far as the quitting after three hours..... with the (complete lack of) information you've given, there's no way for us to know what happened, sorry. Try a freshly charged battery and report back, we'll try and getcha pointed in the right direction.

the batteries are charged and its a new battery, it seems as though the binding process will not complete.

Are you running lipos or nimhs?
I'd throw your batteries in for a good charge (balance if they're lipo), and go over the RC with a fine tooth comb, looking for anything electrical in nature that's come unplugged. The Rx on mine came loose after 2 runs, perhaps the same happened to yours and something came loose? It does sit close enough to the spur gear to have something dreadful happen. Perhaps if you still can't figure it out, take some good, clear pics of your electronics and upload them, some knowledgeable fellows might see something wrong.

Good luck :)

Check the dials under the plate on the radio, if the 3rd one is turned one way all the way turn it back to the half way point, I had the same problem when I first got my 2.4 RTR

The truck keeps beeping

That means that the speed control is not seeing a signal from the receiver. This could mean a few things...

1. The transmitter isn't working properly
2. The receiver isn't working properly
3. There is a wiring issue between the receiver and the speed control
4. There is an issue with the speed control

Does the steering work? If so, try plugging the speed control into the steering slot on the receiver and see if it will power up correctly.

If you have a voltmeter, carefully test for voltage at the + & - posts on the receiver with the speed control ON and the battery plugged in.

I recently got my RTC and right out of the box it toook me literally 3 hours and atleast a couple HUNDRED attempts to get the radio and reciever to bind, finally it did. Worked like you said for about 2-3 hours and quit, would not bind back. Messed with it on and off for an entire day, called Axial and sent my radio and reciever in to them, they said it was the radio (which I doubted) but whatever so 2 weeks went by and I got my new radio and old reciever back. Still nothing. Called axial again and they sent me another new radio and a new reciever and its been working great ever since. It was the reciever the whole time.
