New scale rims incoming.

How narrow can you go on the wraith axle running vp knuck's and chubs? What does your overall track width come out to? Id like to narrow up my current build a bit. Im currently running 2.2 gearheads/5.5 nova's/tsl's.

Wanting this one!

Meeeee Toooooooo!

Wow nothing but good comments on these wheels? I had NO problems with the 1.9 but these 2.2s are shit, Cant get Ripsaw 2.2 R35 with Narrow CI foams to even go together. The wheel squeezes right thru the tire not capturing the bead. Gave up and Got Gear Heads. Vanquish 2.2 OMF what a waist of money that was.

Pics of my VP OMF's with Pitbulls.

Went and sourced the hardware/bolts in black alloy instead of the Stainless offered by VP.

Really set these wheels off!

Mock up pics on my current build

That's weird. I run the KMC XDs, not the OMFs, but they use the same mounting method. Have mounted the R35 Ripsaws, Boggers, and the new Pitbulls without a hiccup.

I had my R35 Ripsaws mounted on my 2.2 OMFs with the stock foam with no issues. I took those tires off and put 2.2 Iroks on without a problem too. I've heard the Proline TSLs don't mount on certain wheels but that has to do with the tire and the way its made. What method are you using to mount the tire?

I had the same issue mounting my 1.9 Pitbulls with C.I.foams onto OMF's. Once I wrapped the inner ring with lead weight and notched a channel in the inner foam the went together with ease. The issue was the inner ring sliding and allowing the outer ring to slip through the bead.

I was gunna say, I just finished mouting up several wheels OMF's and new KMC's yesterday, all went pretty good, foam interfering was the biggest problem.

I have been cutting a 1/2 - 3/4 inch chamfer on both sides of the inner diameter of the foam, this helps keep the foams from interfering when mounting.

When you get the technique on mounting these it not so bad, but at first it can be a bit of a learning curve.

I may need to put a vid up on how i do it, i think it would be worth while.

I love that look, we used to offer black steel hardware, but had complaints about them rusting, so i was better to not offer hardware that can rust...

Using alloy coated hardware, looks great. Should hold up well. Just hate that I sheared one (as you can see in the pic). No idea how to get that guy out :lmao:
