New option for low voltage alarm.... HiTec,,,

I bought one off ebay...
straight outta china I'll guess

was only $ 4.30 shipped to my door.
so I had to try one.

This one is audible with visual LED's
but has no voltage readings.

Works fine...
But the LV alarm goes off before the ESC's LiPo cut off occurs.
Maybe a minute difference.
It'll operate that additional minute after the alarm sounds...
But that's annoying to hear.
So I would normally cut power shortly after the audible.

But I don't use it for that rig/ESC...
I use it on an old skool ESC that has no LiPo cut off.
Nice to know the voltage is more on the high side,
then the low side, when the audible/visual occurs.
