We are happy to now offer both HSS & Cobalt TiN coated options for M2 thread tapping & cleaning.

If you are working with softer metals or plastics, we recommend our HSS line up.
HSS tends to be more forgiving with misalignment (think bending) and doesn't gum up as quickly when working with aluminum.

If you are working with harder metals like steel or titanium, then you will want to look at our Cobalt TiN coated line up.
Cobalt will hold an edge longer than HSS and the TiN coating helps keep temps down for increased life.
