Just 2 months left to go before this event, starting to get excited. The weather is getting nicer and the donated goods should start rolling in pretty soon.

with the time drawing in the reality of getting everything setup is starting to close in. One thing I am hoping to do a little different for this event than in the past is a team format that is setup ahead of time. I will be making some calls for team captains soon but drivers will be assigned to a team relatively randomly. As has been done in the past each team will be responsible for the setup, judging, and tear-down of a course. The different thing we are going to try is that Drivers can signup for a time slot on their team. If you want to go crawl with your buddies then tell them all to sign up for the same slot (ex. 10:00 - noon). Now you will all be free at the same time and everyone will have an obligation to do their slot, no more nice guys getting stuck babysitting the course all day. Once teams are setup a schedule will be posted. Time slots will be first come first serve once the teams are posted.

To execute on this well it is important that everyone doesn't sign up the day before the event. While I will have registration open until the event your options of getting a good spot will go down significantly if you wait that long.

In an effort to motivate people to help me with this, in 1 month, April 14th Comp Class ticket prices will go from the low low price of $50 for all 4 classes to a still low $60 for all 4 classes. Do yourself, and me, a favor and get registered in the next few weeks.

Also this is a good time to remind everyone that the room block we have with the hotel is holding our Rooms until the end of March, after that I cannot guarantee you will get the same rate, or even a room at all.

See you all soon, enjoy that extra hour of sunlight, get some practice in "thumbsup"

Our drivers will have a chance to take away some sweet Carbon fiber parts in our giveaway. We got a complete Sudo Pro Chassis, Bully 2 mounting plates, and AX10/SCX10 motor plates.

J-Slick told me about lobster rolls...so I just made a $70 donation towards that. Oh, and he said something about little crawly things on rocks. I don't remember, I was too busy thinking about Lobster.

Signed up for some comp and scale. Can't wait, See you all in May! "thumbsup"
