New Crawler Only Giveaway Group on FB

This a very new group that is just going to be giving away crawler parts and kits. Eventually it will become a sort of forum. Please note there are very few posts because it is so new. Maybe one of the RCC vendors could be interested in sponsoring one of the giveaways?

I'm sorry, I was told by the group's creator that all the money would go directly into the next give away or 2 and that no one was going to make a profit. Apparently, DRED805 was correct and it appears to scam like since FB took done most of the group. Again, I'm sorry, I was just hoping to add some fun and I believed the creator when he said all of the money would go back into the give aways. Please delete the thread.

I'm not trying to wreck the forum, I love this forum, I spend more time on here than on FB. I just thought that some you might be interested in some of these raffles. By the way when was the last time this forum did a raffle or something fun for its members?(ie: members only coupons, raffles, special forum only deals). Also, what is the deal with all of the pop up ads on the forum now? I paid for stars for years, and just recently stopped because of all the ads. If I'm going to pay for the forum, I expect a little in return, less or no popup ads at minimum. I also share this forum with every group and every person that I know to try to keep this place alive and interesting. It is still the best place to find info on any crawler ever made.

This new group is just a monthly (or more often) raffle group, the plan is not to rely on any businesses however sponsors are welcome. There will be rtrs, kits, and parts. Tickets for the raffle will range from a few cents to $20 depending on what is being given away. There will be a limited number of spots per raffle. The money go directly into the next give away, no one is making a profit. Just sharing...

I recommend paying for lifetime no ads and use Tapatalk. Not the best, but it beats the ads and wasn’t that expensive.

Even when the General Forum was flooded with give-a-ways, I never won. The give-a-ways where they pick a random post looked a lot like my lotto tickets, the random post was #253, my post was #53.

Agreed. I’m only on there to keep in touch with the local crawler group and to find good 1:1 deals, but other than that I’m never on it lol. I hate it.

I thought it was clear I was talking to the original poster, but it would make sense to anyone that's looking into what he's trying to do. The "give away" isn't a giveaway... he's selling raffle tickets for an RTR Honcho, that he'll make a couple hundred bucks on, just for hosting it.
