Nice! Those wheels are sexy on that rig and woah those are beefy long arms. Makes em look way longer than 69mm. I'd love to have those tires but pretty sure OD would kill that idea. Great looking rig and pics. Nice body too fwiw.
Your AX24 looks good "thumbsup" Makes me think of them again.
I keep thinking about one of these AX24's on and off, just not sure if I want 4WS
Well to tell you the truth the Spektrum ESC sucks on it . Not exactly a slow crawler out of the box . I complained to Axial about the issue , Horizon Hobby sent me a new ESC that acted the same , when that didn’t work they sent me a new motor, that didn’t work either. I put in 30% under drive gears to help it a bit , tried a Injora 050 Pro motor , and now a Mofo Torque Beast 50 that Im fairly happy with . You don’t have to use the rear steering but it does come in handy when crawling . I have seen straight axles installed in the rear.
My build was done long before any after market suspension or chassis parts were available for it . I am very happy with how it performs with the suspension set up.
I've read that that the V2 ESC (as in Bronco) is much better for crawling. Since the Bronco is my first ... I have no reference to know one way or another.
My wife’s JLU has the V2 ( blue color ESC ) and yep it does a much better slow crawl . The AX24 ESC gives a high pitched ring then jumps when you try to slow crawl .

Did that Torque Beast 50 bolt right in or did you need to sand/Dremel anything? That’s the motor I’d like to put in mine also. Thanks, and nice job on your AX!
