Well ive had my MRC for a almost a year now and it still looks brand new. Ive always told myself i was gonna take pics and never did till now. So as you see in the pics its pretty plain besides moving the battery forward and located the esc and tx to the shock mounts. and i did the battery train cut and remove which i got from badgers MRC http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=136390
I want to get some of the tire weights for 1:1 cars and put some weight in the front but im too lazy and dont want to have to pay for it either. Also better wheels and tires to but im jus gonna wait for a bit. Been planning on selling or trading it too but not sure about that anymore since i found someone close to where i live who i can crawl with. So enough typing and on to the pics.

looks good, here's something that will benefit your mrc.


Take your shocks apart and put a pencil spring under the piston, and run 50wt. shock oil in them, then take of the external springs and reinstall the shocks on the truck.

What this does is reduces your torque twist to nearly none at all, and limits your shocks to a perfect amount of flex, which in turn allow the mrc to climb near vertical with great traction from all 4 wheels being on the ground. and the flex is perfect right around 55-60 degrees."thumbsup""thumbsup"

try this out and you'll be suprised how well it will perform.

Thanks for all the comments guys. And i think i will try the different shock oil and springs when i get some funds up. How much is shock oil anyways. Oh and what type of pencil spring are you talkin about. Like make and brand. It will help keep the results the same. And once thats all done i can stop using the old external springs all together right. You sounds pretty confident in that setup so ill give it a try. But i am having an issue right now though. When i turn my MRC on radio first then the rig. Nothing happens i charge it for six hours and nothing still. I try re-binding it and that doesnt do anything that the instruction tell me to do either. Im suppose to see an orange light on the RX but all i see is a green one. All the connection look and feel tight too. Is there any ideas on how i can get this fixed. The last time i ran it i didnt have a problem at all. So have a good day. Thanks 8)

The pencil springs, are cheap mechanical pencils that i bought in pack of 100, there the multicolored pack, and the oil is like 4$ at hobby town, and yes you will be able to do away with the stock outer springs"thumbsup"
 
replace the batterys in transmiter and only green on the revever i had same problem if you did then turn remote on then pull one battery for 5 seconds then reinstall sould work then

Yeah i dive for work. In the Gulf of Mexico. Im on a boat now waiting for my turn to get in the water.

When i get home ill look around for pencils and what not. But im gonna have to wait on it all. Due to serious lack of funds. And the pencil springs goes inside the shock under the the piston correct. Thanks for the help. When i get it done ill let you know.

Justinraz I never thought of taking out the batterys on the controller but when i get home ill do that first thing. Also does anyone know how long a battery should last after being charged and unplugged from the truck. Thanks for all the help. have a good day...

I have checked it out before. Ive helped add a few things to it when it first started, well i think thats the same thread, could be wrong. Yes thats my favorite beer. Well in the next day or two i should have some new tires and wheels, and a new chassis thanks to a really cool friend. So look forward to some new stuff to my rig.
 
You can get some of the 1/4 oz. stick on weights from an auto repair or tire shop used. Whenever they balance a new set of tires they use new weights and would probably give you them. That is what I did. "thumbsup"
 
Nytuber thats a solid idea never thought about asking for used weights that will defently keep the cost down. Ive been reading with those lead stick on weight thats you have to trim them to fit into the Axial 1.9 wheels, can anyone else second that fact at all. Wont be a problem, ill find the tools around the house somewhere to make it work. So im offshore right now working and what happens my new HB Rovers, and my Axial wheels are showing up at the house today. So hopefully in a week or so ill be home and can start putting all the new stuff on to my MRC, but makin the dollars is good too. I know ill be needing a new servo soon and other various electronics soon. Thanks for the help and have a good night.
 
I'm freaking topped got my axials wheels and my HB rovers and my hot racing lockers in the mail. Thanks so much TCS. Picks with the new parts and the chassis that shelljeep is helping me with will come soon. But for now it's late and I'm tired. Have a good night RCC.

Rovers, Axial wheels and the lockers. One Question what size allen head do i need for the bead locks. i dont think i have anything that small. thanks."thumbsup"

Nevermind about the allen wrench. I found one out of my ole rc tool box that fits. Now all i need is to pick up some wieght and put em together...

Ok got another question do i need to put a breather hole in the tire or the wheel. Cuz the one wheel ive put together has dimples where its sucked in a bit. Im curious if its something i did wrong with the install or something else. Thanks.
