My First Sawback

of course!

I cut down the "motor" and bolted a small tray to it to hold the battery.

How do you like that transmission in your Sawback? I've got one of those looking for a home and have been thinking about doing a transplant.

Are you just using the long and short springs?

I run all 3 on mine. shorter springs stacked on top of main to help with torque twist because I don't use anti-wrap bars. Depending on the weight, I will also zip-tie the medium leaf tightly to the main leaf and use the springs in the stock shacks. I tend to run fairly heavy, and this setup works for what I have. It's best to run several packs through your Sawback to break the springs in then you can fine tune it to your liking.

I am running the medium on top of the main without zip-ties. I think I will run it that way for a while. I am going to see if I can swap the position of the battery tray and receiver box.

The battery can move back a bit, but I wanted to have the weight as far up as possible.
