My husband has two SCX10's. He got my interest when he offered to paint the cage on his Dingo body pink! I'm taking interest because it is his favorite hobby and we enjoy doing it together now.

Here are the mods! (hubby helped with this list, I don't know it all yet)
Axial Dingo SCX10 with all pink trims
12.3 inch wheel base with aluminum link kit
Gmade 2.2 Air System wheels and tires (pink beadlock rings) 6oz in each wheel
Junfac Carbon steel drive shafts
Axial AE-2 ESC
Axial 27t motor (20t pinion, 87t spur)
level 3 droop kit used to Lift it with stock shocks and angled inwards
Solar D772 Servo with CKRC aluminum horn
Traxxas TQ3 27mhz radio system

Before I was interested.

Today me and my husband went to Vanns Tavern park on Lake Lanier. He said there were a lot of rocks, and there were. It was pretty fun. Beaches were really sandy and flat with big boulders to little pebbles. I learned a lot and we both had fun!

Here is a video of my husband learning me to take proper lines (i have less than 2 hours behind the wheel so dont hate!):

And some pictures (He only took pictures of his truck though....haha

That's Pretty Cool! My next project is a Dingo for my daughters 4th birthday. I plan on painting it pink with zebra stripes. Everytime I take my Wraith in the woods she steals the controller from me. Time for her own crawler.

Hey its her husband "thumbsup" Sounds to me like you just want another projet hahahahaha :lmao:

Zebra stripes would be so cool! We were going to do that to hers but my Dingo was already silver from being a super old rtr. Post some picture of the dingo if you get the build going!!

Glad to see you are really enjoying it. They're a lot of fun and gets you outdoors. Paint job looks great too! I hope you enjoy it for a long time.

badass looking Dingo you've got there. "thumbsup" I'm glad to see wives getting into the hobby. Once I got my first scx-10 and started taking it on hikes my wife was always begging me to drive it so I bought her one and *supervised* while she basically built the whole thing herself. Now I can drive mine in peace. :lmao:

she said thanks. I'd like to build one together as well. hers came rtr from my past.

ever been to sawnee mountain in cumming? or blood mountain north of cleveland? both rock!

I haven't, and neither are that far. I've driven other Blood Mountain several times and it's most certainly not fun in my 1:1's! I hate Blood Mountain on 4 wheels.

haha well the trail to the top and the top are a blast! and the road is plenty fun in my WRX haha. CURVES!

I may have to check them out next time I pass through. Are there any pictures of the trails? It may be worth driving up, the scenery up there is beautiful.

FYI...7,600LB Toyota on long travel and no sway bars makes it not to thrilling. My weekend warrior is a 1984 LandRover D90 Turbo Diesel sitting on 36's and handles like its got a steering system made of gelatin...that may actually be a compliment.
