my clod

Hello, i just became a member of this site and thought i'd say hello by posting this pic of one of my clods, the first one i ever got back in the '80s, its had many evolutionary stages over the years but its current set up is a full 'zilla 4 chassis and links minus the cantilevers in favor of the upright shocks for more articulation. esp aluminum steering, customized rc guy bumpers, threaded aluminum shocks, independent front and rear steer by way of a 4 channel airtronics radio system,mag mayhem motors wired to an Lrp speed control, and of course full bearings and the Land cruiser body(i just love Toyotas)with the Ivan Stewart inspired paint job. thanks for looking, i hope you like it. –M

They're 1/6 Nylint tires I think..

Could you tell us how you mounted those nylint tires/wheels? Im thinking about getting them for my clod.

yup they are the nylint 1/6 tires and rims and they mount to a clod quite easily,
just drill out the center section to allow a standard wheel nut and tamiya wrench in there and then to the back part of the rim, center the clod hub and mount it to the back with five screws, the nylint rims themselves are two pieces that screw together so they act as bead locks, and they have a removable center section up front that covers the wheel nut and hole, pretty spiffy.:mrgreen:
