MTHead's Toyrunner

I really like the rear cage section. I think something like that would look good on the back of my toyota "thumbsup"

While you have it torn down, good time for it.. "thumbsup"

Made a little progress..

Got the cage fully cleaned up, sliders made and cleaned. Started the bumpers but ran out of tube  New stock will be in Friday so I finished up the chassis by installing the Axial 4-link truss and making new upper links. Also swapped out the plastic shock bodies with the Axial aluminum ones and installed the Wraith drive shafts.

Swamp buggy? :ror:

Started some detail on the dash, not going to get to crazy, just enough to notice it. Still need to make a steering column.

Next will be the firewall and final fit of the console so I can finish the detail on it.

For a guy who's head is MT, you sure have a lot of scale goodness rattling around up there. Very nice and STOOOOOPID clean."thumbsup"

Finally, someone that gets it... :ror::ror:

Thanks man!

I like that!

Well that's good, you know I do all this just to please you.

:flipoff:

Finished off the interior (firewall & tunnel) and was able to get a coat of primer color on it so I can see where I'm at with the bodywork. Got a few minor blemishes to fix but it could be a week before this paint dries.

Thanks Mike!!

So I spent the week sanding, filling, priming, filling, sanding, priming to walk out this morning and find the body and my seats laying on the ground under the sawhorse they was on. Apparently AZ's weathermen don't know jack about the weather "It's gunna be yet another stormless night in the Valley" DUMBASSES!!

Anyhow, F'it I knocked the large dings out of it made by the gravel in the yard and sprayed it green. :ror:

The hood will be flat black and I want to try something on the tail. The interior will be textured black with Green and Black seat.

Finished the grill up and installed the lights, Yeah racing 5mm LEDs and yellow grain of rice bulbs.

Between paint drying times I will get the bumpers made and hopefully painted this weekend.

that thing could cause a seizure!
i love it!

:lmao::lmao:

Thanks Stang! "thumbsup"

I learned two things today,
1. Satin black paint comes out GLOSS on a nice primer base.
2. Normal spray bomb paint will not dry at all on top of Bob Dively liquid mask.

Tomorrow's task, clean the seats up and try again, that was a fricken mess.. :ror:
