mini me fj cruiser...ddk ..scx10 chassis

Ok so i wanted to make fj for a while when tamiya released the new lexan fj cruiser body I knew it had to be mine ..my 1:1 to copy some what..
Both trucks will be getting upgrades:twisted:

ok we start here ...rails, body, dinky rc ddk with super shafty gears"thumbsup"

Then I finally found a delrin gr7 case to put my 40t super shafty gear in ...big outputs:twisted:
I had this motor laying around so it will be going in for now temporarily hh 27t trail master 10t pinion 32p..

So i think we've seen one of these before built so hear it is together. .
i normally would run servo on axle but u can't with this setup I didn't plan for that so nothing I could do but run a cms...
Mip short male dog bones all around from super shafty..

I've bought this body as we'll. I'm a huge fj fan. I'm waiting to score a used scx10 as a donor chassis to build the fj on. Can't wait to see the progress. What are you going to do for bumpers? And is there anyway you could post your link measurements when the time comes?

Ok next was axles..
Rear was packed with beef tubes and hd under drive gears and hot racing locker..

Front has the xr mod, std beef tubes, hd over drive gears and locked up locker, new vp scale chubs and knuckles modded xr10 uni's..

I have comp to get to so the bumpers will be stock stuff i have laying around only temporary till I'm happy over all with w.b. for now I'm using the 91mm links on the bottom f/r top being little shorter ..sorry no measurements at the moment. .

links fitted ..3 link brackets from a vp scx10 panhard link kit i had but hated it so went 4link on that rig..i used 3/16 rod treaded to 4 mm revo rod ends..rear link risers

It runs good climbs up good side hills good and drops down good ..I'm really happy with the performance of the rig ..but it ain't done yet winch and lights next ..
so far I love the xr mod it turns on a dime ..plus the ud/od gears ..needless to say I'm pulling lines that my buddys cant..

Well basically is a ax10 /scx10 axle but fitted with wraith chubs and knuckles ..and shortened xr10 uni's. .
