meffie's Wraith

Thanks Bill.

Tekin should be replacing my fxr today.

So I think I'm going to tweak a few things, rebuild the shocks and install the Bgr bumper today

So I started modifying the back end. Wanted to do a half cab and have the rear look like it was back halved. Here's the start.

I also decided to install the RC4WD bumper supports and the BGR bumper. Little did I know, the RC4WD bumper supports do *NOT* fit in the VP CMS mount.. So I had to do some sanding.

Didn't have to take too much off, but those of you running VP CMS getting the RC4WD Bumper mounts, will have to do some work to make them fit.

Anyone wanna buy a Wraith? Jesus I can't catch a break. Painted up the RC4WD Bumper mounts and installed them. Moved on to the BGR bumper and ....

So I'm stuck again until I hear back from bill on these spacers.

I did get the shocks rebuilt without an issue though? Maybe the sun does shine on the backside sometimes.....

I'm sure you won't. I think I just got lucky.

I need some 55mm rods to finish the back half. Unfortunately I did not have any so that parts on hold until next week or so when they get in.

I might have enough Delrin to do it too, we'll see tomorrow.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my *new* fxr back from factory warranty. They replaced it np. Thanks Tekin!

So I got the ESC Mounted to the tranny.

Got all my wiring done. Don't worry, it looks worse than it is, although it was a pain to get it all in.

Decided to borrow WarTrader's idea and make a waterproof electronics box.

I'm undecided if I want to move the FXR into it or not. I mean honestly I really don't see much water or moisture anyway, but hell, it's a cool idea! Least it will keep the dirt out of all the other electronics/bec's etc and keep it all nice and clean looking. Going for a total no wire look.

Well I used plastic glue to attach the nipple into the side. Then a layer of waterproof bathroom silicone to seal over.

Water and air tight :)

I never thought of the bathroom silicone, great idea. Thanks for the info, will have to do that, seeing how there's lots of water in Florida at least around me anyway.

Looks like it's almost ready to rock!

The wheel hex thing isn't a Gmade issue, it's the Hexes. They have that dumb collar poking out of the center. No wheels aside from Axials will fit is what I found. I just ground the collar off.

Yes it is.

Yah I realized that already. I wasn't paying attention. I've already got em ground down. :)
