Welp, I figured I would actually do a build thread for once. So here's my start.

Will do. Wasn't going to be my first choice of wheels, but hell for $10....Figured I'd try them. They'll get me started for now at least. I'll post up after some abuse for you. "thumbsup"

yer, you got soom good parts for sure.:) you cant go past vanquish. what motor is that?

It is a Brood Apocalypse Type R 25 Turn "thumbsup"

Ran into my first assembly snag today. The rear axle driveshaft pin falls straight through the coupler. I'd post a video but it won't seem to let me. Anyone else had this issue?

As a side note I called up Scott @ Axial and they're sending me out replacements, so way to go Axial as always.

Wow I'm apparently a lucky cat! Figured with my driveline issue I would move on to chassis assembly.....NOT.....Guess my assembly is still on hold

Axial is still going to take care of the problems though :)

The thought occurred to me. But honestly I'm not in a rush to get it done. Although I have parts all over my workspace now and 2 3 year old twins running around trying to play with it, lol.

If I run into another issue though I very well may request that.

Oh man that sucks! I know I'd be dissapointed 'cause when I start building I usually can't sleep until it's done. :lmao:

Parts should be here Thursday or Friday from Axial. Until then my builds dead in the water.

Fortunately though, I'm still waiting on a few upgrades from Vendors, so should all be here in time and I can throw the whole thing together

yup, had the same issue with the pin and driveshaft coupler. Mine was an RTR, so I made it about 5 minutes before that went flying. I also got in touch with Scott at Axial, and they're sending out a new one, no questions asked. So, I guess there must be a few with that issue...

Yah he said they've had a few with the pin/coupler issue. Although my 2 left sides was the first he's heard of, lol

Ok so I got the replacement side and cvd's from Axial...Thanks Scott "thumbsup"

So I started assembly again. and came out with a Roller.

Just a side note back to you, and anyone else who may care.

The G-Made wheels do *NOT* fit the hexes properly. They are a bit too small. Gonna have to do a little tweaking to get them to fit right so I don't strip them out.

That being said I do still really like the wheels considering they're plastic "thumbsup"
