Mean Old Rat Rod Truck: MORRT

that last picture is SICK

all the parts that are mocked up in that pic look awesome, hella good together

good luck with the build, I'll be watching for sure"thumbsup"

Neat build. If I can make one comment.....channeling would have been sinking the frame rails into the body "body drop" not reducing the height of the door/cab. It might have looked proportionally correct if you channeled the interior so the whole body sat lower on the frame rather than changing the height. Just my two pennies.

Wow, that looks great! With the amount of time spent on the body, I'd be afraid to run it for fear of wrecking it :D!

So is the only suspension the leaf springs across the axles?

Thanks everyone for the comments.

In reverse order:

Ecoli, as of right now, I am actually looking at bolting the front axle directly to the frame and having my buggyspring setup in the rear. That will give it a fun rake.

Nickvig, I got mixed up. What I did was sectioning. Channeling wouldn't have worked with how I built the truck anyways. Also, I like the squished height. That's what makes a ratrod for me.

SGTHopkins, The name is actually RAtlas Z based on a made up Make and Model of extinct car company. I like making entire stories for my dreamt rigs.

more progress.

This is the official rideheight because it looks sicktastic and it absolutely the rattiest.

It's amazing the uses you will find for OG bruiser parts...
