MaX-D Assembles a Sport!

In case I didn't it mention it, I use the Tamiya PS-55 Flat Clear on top of the black.

I also used the flat clear on my interior to dull it up too.
Yes, you did mention it. I picked up a can of the PS-55. So the trick with the black on top is to get an even coat, then clear coat it?

Yep! That's it!

When you spray the flat clear, spray a couple good coats on and let them dry.
Then spray the last coat on holding the can back away from the body about 8-10" to lightly mist it. By doing that it will put down a nice even coat that has a nice looking matte finish.

Perfect! I will finish up the black tonight when I get home from work, let it dry, then spray on the clear.

The truck has been sitting done for a few months. Finally got around to taking some pics. Still haven't driven the stupid thing. I did paint the front and rear tow shackles (don't really know what they're called) today. The stock red didn't go with the paint job.

I also took my dremel and cut off the rear trailer hitch. I could see that thing getting caught on rocks and such. It's done.
