I was given two AX-10 crawlers and want to make a 6x6 crawler. From reading the forum a popular way is to use two SCX10 frames joined. Will this setup work using AX-10 axles?

I also found the K2-6 frame option out there, although it's out of stock currently.

Thanks in advance!

Yes those axles are an easy thru axle conversion.
I just did mine, there are plenty of threads with good pics on how to.
I am planning on just extending the scx10 chassis back for the 3rd axle.

Extending the rear section of the SCX chassis is the easiest. If you want a more realistic looking chassis look into a set of chassis rails from a semi or some other 6x6 specific chassis

verry easy to make a ax10 axle into a through axle also the k2 chassis is verry nice build platform
