Machined raw finish wheels

My wife pre ordered me an Axial CJ 7 and one thing I know I want to change is the wheels right out of the box. I really like the look of the 1:1 KMC machetes but I can’t seem to find anybody that makes 1.9’s with the machined raw finish that I like. I’ve looked at the usual suspects, Vanquish, SSD, Amazon specials, LURC. Anybody know of any lesser known manufactures that make something like this?

They don’t need to be perfect replicas just want to capture the raw machined Al look. Everything I’ve looked at has some sort of finish or has been bead blasted to soften the look.

There are a bunch of knockoff Machete wheels, but I have never seen any that look like raw machined aluminum.

Locked Up RC has a very similar looking called the Hatchet, Its gonna be the closed to a machined Finish KMC you will find.

I haven't, but these have that cheap looking almost cast finish to me not machined.

Gear Head RC used to make some called the RubiComp. It looks like Gear Head no longer makes wheels which is sad. They made beautiful stuff.

Great choice! LURC aren’t all that common and they’re definitely underrated.

I plan on getting another couple on order in the next week week to outfit a couple more rigs with them. They are amazing wheels!
