Hi i am a newb so please be gentle!
I have a C24 and am surprised how loud it is. From the gear whine sound and the noise of plastic clacking around i was hoping there were some upgrades or diy methods to quiet it down. I have the 2 speed gearbox coming and the metal shocks.

Please let me know

Thank you

Tell us more about the parts. Is it an all plastic driveline or is it one of the C-24 KM versions {Kit, Metal}?

Add more metal parts to the truck and make sure the body is tightly affixed to the chassis. You might even add some tiny
rubber O-rings between the body and the chassis because the large surface area of the body can act like a sound resonator
if it's not isolated or if it's banging and clacking against the frame.

I think they all whine, from the motor and ESC and it's just the nature of the beast. The whine is even worse with brushless motors.

Lastly, where there's gears meshing with other gears, make sure there is plenty of lube {plastic-safe or hobby-grade grease} in the
transmission and the axles and also give it time to 'break in' especially if they are metal gears.
