Micro t/micro Dt springs are shorter. They can be stretched and/or spaced out. They're much softer.

I have a set of micro T desert racer shocks. (ones with the small bracket on the bottom

the large one is the trekker shock with an X-mod stretched spring on it. you can find xmods shocks and parts on ebay still.

the micro T stuff is good if your going scale. but you wouldn't want them on the stock trekker body.

same with the 1:18th Mini T, which are HUGE and I don't feel like digging mine out of a box to take a picture, they wouldn't work either.

The micro truck's shocks will work if you mount them like this:

however the trekker frame rails will be significantly more likely to bind as these shocks are MUCH smaller. as seen in my last picture. :D

You will need to make a special shock upper mount bar for them if you mount them like this too.

(note: The truck pictured is a completely custom frame, and not the trekker. although that is a trekker axal.)

edit: and yes the rear shocks ARE longer than the front for the micro shocks. but not enough to compare to the Trekker's.
