Losi Micro Brushless in SCX24?

Has anyone done the swap?

Losi: Tazer Micro Brushless Motor with Pinion, 8750Kv: Dynamite (DYNS1400)


From the dimensions is a bit longer but "should" still fit. It's a smaller diameter too. I'm sure the bolt pattern doesn't align or maybe it does.



Maybe it's nuts, not sure?



Any info is appreciated.

I found a video of someone pulling out. what looks like an 030 motor and replacing it with this. However, the motor is no longer available.

I think this is going to be my next experiment. Yes, it's a little larger and will require a GamyRC mount but it's a 4 pole motor. Should run ultra smooth with a Furitek.

I already have one of these in my Showtime bouncer with a GamyRC motor plate, 12t pinion(IIRC) and a Lizard ESC. It's fantastic at low speeds and has pretty good wheel speed as well.

The 2030 wouldn't be a bad choice. It's close to the Barrage Motor size. The mounting holes are slightly wider set.



Some other thoughts.



They Kyoshi motors look like they are a drop in from the size/form factor.

But they don't have any holes for mounting. If we can pull lit apart, then tap some holes it could work.

The mounting holes look to be set about 1.5mm wider.



However, this one looks like it should mount (10mm spacing) and the length is < 30mm.
