Losi ESC replacement

I’d had issues with the Losi ESC in my Wraith pretty much since day one but put up with it (basically laziness) but now, after a lay up of a few years, I want to get it sorted properly. I ran it yesterday with it’s usual erratic reverse power bursts but today it refused to work at all until I reprogrammed it (QPC) then it ran but only slowly forwards whether I reversed the ESC or TX or not. Anyway Losi cba to help so enough is enough & I mined it out of the car this afternoon with a view to replacing it but I want to keep the motor because it’s not had much use & I like it. Can anyone tell me of a specific (NOT Losi) sensored ESC that will definitely work with my 21.5T Xcelorin Crawler motor in a Wraith with 2S LiPo only used for crawling please?

Castle Mamba X...there is no better for that size/type of vehicle. It's perfect for 1/10 crawlers, rock bouncers, rock racers, and other similar vehicles (ex. Losi Baja/Rock Rey, Axial Ryft, Traxxas Slash/Rustler/Stampede 4x4, TRX4/6, Wraith, etc). Plus, it offers more programming options than almost anything else available. This is the closest you'll ever get to "One ESC to rule them all". The newest Castle ESCs (MMX-8S, XLX2, etc) are so fantastic, some are even using them in boats (replacing the fans & heatsink fins with water blocks).

Thanks both - I can’t run to a Mamba X, a Copperhead just about if I have to, I guess I was hoping there’d be a more direct replacement for the LOSB9501 price-wise

The Copperhead 10 is also excellent...but, you'll want to check the vehicle weight (with battery) first. Off the top of my head, I don't recall the max weight...but, if I remember correctly, it's 10lbs max for a crawler, and 8lbs (or, maybe, is 7lbs) max for faster vehicles. If you're within that weight, the Copperhead 10 will work...otherwise, you'd probably want to go with the Mamba X.
