Hello fellow crawlers

If not already done so, ( could not find) The Goal of this is thread is a Goto For identifying:
1. Ratings of Reliability Transmitters and receivers,
2. Which Transmitters and Receivers used by which Crawler application
3. TX /RX models and compatibility ?
4. Concerns, problems with the copies (IE) Orange RX, Storm and so on

Spektrum
Stick Controllers , newer ones are typically Air controllers:
DX6i (Pre 2015) DSM2 works only with AR model receivers like AR####
DX6 DSMx
DX6 (after 2015 ) DSMX
DX3R (surface Radio = Only works with SR###
DX3E

Futaba
4 Ch

Airtronics

Sanwa

Frysky

Nomadio

Ko Propo

PLease add Simple short - TX model - confirmed works with which -->RX ?
Please add which RX's to stay away from, had problems with that you should not have.
We should not be supporting Copy cats, I call the orange receiver. unsure of the others.

I have Configured my Custom built DX6i Pistol to run all my vehicles, 1.9 scale, MOA Dual ESC berg, 1/8 scale buggy super 4ws, 1/5 AWD Road, 1/10 Shortcourse
After research I found that the nice light weight Spektrum DX3R has 2 position and 3 position switches.

As back up TX I have a DX3R ,
Which 3ch or 4Ch Receiver should I buy for it?
Options I found:
Spektrum S315,
Storm s603= DSM2
Orange
MK610 6ch 2.4 GHz = DSM2 - Dx5e,Dx6i,Dx7 Dx8
no name found on ebay SR3100

Hope this helps
Open to changes, feedback

Thank You

For the most part (as most people already know), Tx & Rx need to be off the same brand. Yes, there are a few exceptions, but very few. That being said, here's to hoping someone has, and will post, the info as related to Futaba & Airtronics/Sanwa (being the other 2 of the "Top 3".
