Looking for actual measured height of some 2.2" tires

I'm in the market for a set of taller 2.2" tires. I've narrowed it down to a handfull, but I'd like to know how tall they actually are, not just the manufacturers advertised height since we know that some say 5.75" just to appease class 3 rules.

If you've got a set of any of these, a quick (mounted to a wheel) measurement would be appreciated!

Jconcepts Scorpios 2.2" (advertised 5.98")
Jconcepts Ruptures 2.2" (advertised 5.98")
Proline Hyrax 2.2" (advertised 5.75")
Duratrax Deep Woods 2.2" (advertised 5.9")
Pitbull Rock Beast II's 2.2" (advertised 5.75")
RC4wd Irok 2.2" (advertised 5.75")

These will be going on an AR60 axle'd car that is currently on Proline 1.9" Boggers (advertised at 5.4" tall, measure ~5.125") with .185" hubs and narrow hex's. I've finally grown tired of dragging the diffs across everything, and I'm already as narrow as I can get without major surgery, so tall 2.2"s are my last ditch effort before building a whole new set of smaller axles! I've run the above compounds with the exception of the Duratrax C3, but I've read good things about them so I'm open to trying them out.

Thanks. "thumbsup"

Thanks to MikeMce's pictures, I see that the Proline's are so close in height to the Jconcepts, that it's not even worth factoring in.

I really liked my heavily cut and shaved tsl sx xl's, and the Hyrax has a lot of similarities to my worked over Swampers, plus a whole lot of additional siping. I have a set of Scorpios in 1.9" and was considering cutting up a set of 2.2"s into quasi-pins similar to what White-trash has done with his, but I got to fondle some 1.9" Hyrax's at a hobby shop the other day and I was sold on the idea of them in a 2.2"... of course they did not have the 2.2" version in stock.

Once again, Ebay's 20% off anything coupon was enough to push me over the edge, and I've got a set of 2.2" Hyrax's coming, along with some new wheels. I will update this thread with actual measured height as soon as they arrive.

Scorpios are garbage. No amount of work made them even ok on the rock.

I have all the rest of the tires on your list and the ruptures slaughter the rest. It takes a lot of work to make them great but the result is worth it.

Ruptures are #1 on my list for my Dahu/MOA build if I ever get around to it, and I'm definitely gluing that set on. I figured the Hyrax was a safe bet since this set is destined for a Wraith based crawler, so it's not exactly on the bleeding edge of rc crawling capabilities like a 2.2s/2.2pro car... and I'm less likely to hear a bunch of whining and excuses from everybody at our local "comps" (no real points series around here) for my non-scale/out of spec tires, since several guys are running them in 1.9". You should have heard the hissy fits when I ran in the "1.9" class with Proline Boggers! I finally put a 2290sg servo in that pig today, so I'll actually be able to turn it too!

Update for future reference: The 2.2 Pro-line Hyrax measures exactly 5.75" tall when mounted on a 1" wide wheel. That has to be the first tire I've ever bought that has measured perfectly true to advertised size. I mocked one up on a 1.5" wide wheel and lost ~1/10".

My set of Scorpios mounted to Incision MR307 measured in right at 6" and they are excellent on the rocks IMO
