That guitar tone is abrasive to my ears (reminds me of a cheap Ibanez through a Crate G60 with a rocktron distortion pedal cranked.)

Just watched an amazing Mad Season concert on VH1 classic.

Nice, Mad Season rules, and I bet that's the same show (Live at The Moore) I have on their recent reissued CD/DVD set. Guitar guy moves around a lot, and the drummer hits HARD. Good stuff. Got the new vinyl also, all to add to my originals. Only complaint was sax player went way too far with his parts, but he always has everywhere I've seen him, Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade, for instance.
