How's it going? I've listened to everything posted. "thumbsup"

I cannot get enough of this new Mars Volta. I can listen to it over and over again, and often do while at work. I'm a fan of theirs, but not this big of a fan, so for me, this is a special record. They did good.

This one is playing right now.

Speaking of Clutch, I've been meaning to mention The Company Band. Interesting line up they got going.

He always has.

That's more of what he really is. I have to be aware it's that guy that's trying to sing. And then I realize he's okay. And he's pretty creative with his words.

Check out 2:32!!!

older one but a good one....been on a perfect circle kick a bit lately.

i just go through the related on youtube....whatever comes up comes up for a perfect circle. i don't really play favorites on any albums.

another thing is solid chick rock....i listen to a lot of it. i see it as a "if it sounds good, listen" type thing. some bands, not so good, some bands i listen to a lot. does confuse people when i'm driving blasting paramore, but whatever.

one i stumbled on recently is fit for rivals. pretty typical for what i listen to (mental illness and such, cheap therapy) but the singer has a deeper voice than most female singers...different in a good way.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xusC01JShvU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

i'm big on the whole if it sounds good, listen thing. i stopped caring a long time ago about what people though of my musical tastes. the dealing with mental illness does come out in my choices a lot....like i said, cheap therapy. listening to music where its addressed in some way helps get my head on the up and up thought wise, even if it is a song talking purely about suicide and hospitalization, it helps get the issues out of hiding. nothing like hopping on the mower for the afternoon and just screaming to get the aggression out about shit going bad. lot healthier than my previous stress releases.

I do that too. But I stop short of the third album. It's just not right. First one is the best one.

I live and breathe emotive. Seeing them live last year was absolutely amazing, they walked on and played the whole album. The reworkings of the emotive songs to be played live make the album feel so flat and boring. It's really leaps and bounds away from their older work. Next to Bobby Mcferrin in a small setting it was the best concert I've ever seen. They even reworked and managed to pull off, in the most amazing way, a track from amotion.
