Pebble Pounder
I have been wrestling with tire sizes on both of my trucks (TRX4 has some Flat Irons that are just a bit too big for the wheel offset / bumper setup I've chosen and Enduro / LC70 body has some relatively small wheel openings and I'm trying to get it good and low) - I've found myself looking at tires a lot. Now this is part of my enjoyment of this hobby, but sometimes I get frustrated when I can't remember which tires had which dimensions.
So today while I was watching Guardians of the Galaxy with the kid, I decided to make a little spreadsheet with all of the 1.9 tires I could find.
I included both OD and width. I also calculated what I'd consider the maximum dimension of the furthest reach of the tire (basically the hypotenuse or diagonal of the shadow thrown by the tire). I added this last one because I have different tires that, because they're wider, have larger arcs when steering. I realize the width isn't always at the OD, and that they all have different shapes, but I added it as a conservative worst case scenario - it's basically corner to corner.
Once I was done I thought the table might come in handy for someone else who might be looking, so I'll put it up here. The table is too big for one post, so I'll break it up into groupings that seem to suit the kinds of situations I've found myself in.
If anybody wants to see it rearranged, let me know.
Also - if I've missed any, please let me know and I can add them.
I hope this is helpful.
