Lipo- 3s 20c 4000 vs 3s 35c 3300?

Hello all,

After joining 2 years ago and lurking and UTSE til my fingers bled I finally have a question...

I recently got a RTR Ax-10 Deadbolt for my 9yr old and I. My old NiCd's packs are not holding up well, hence I want to upgrade.

I'm sticking with the RTR 20T motor and AE2 esc. I'm putting on a 15 tooth pinion to slow it down and a CC BEC. For now while my son is learning to drive we are just running the truck in the yard, but soon we'd like to get out and hit some local trails. Once we do that we will slowly upgrade/do some of the easy mods to the truck.

I'm just stuck trying to decide between Lipo batteries. I found these two on Amazon. Any thoughts as to which might suit our needs better? I was leaning towards the 4000mah one.

With a larger capacity battery you don't need to run a crazy high C rating. That 4k 20c will be just fine.

Don't waste your money; buy usome turnigy from hobbyking and call it a day.

Thanks both of you. SC- I've been watching those bats from your 'what to buy' thread; they've been out of stock for a bit though. I'll keep an eye out though as the charger/PS combo is a bit cheaper than the Tenergy one on Amazon too.
