Who makes the best and why do you like it?
Do we have a page or section for all LCG Creators?
I'm looking and pondering a new build with an LCG chassis.
Every time I see 1 that I like. I stumble on another chassis I may like better.
Thank you

I have been running the Game Changer 4.2 (GC4.2) angled skid, optimal shock mounts and pan hard mount by The Crawl Space on my 10.2 based Class 2 and love it. I like the versatility, weight and optional packages they have available, I went with the Stage 2 G10 kit which includes their Double T forward motor mount and transfer case. They also have body mounts for the popular Mojave, Clod Chevy and F-350 hard bodies along with links and bumpers. They are also available in T6 aluminum and carbon fiber.

The other chassis I run is a Northwest Scaler Designs Scattergun, for my 10.3, but they have a 10.2 version along with ones for TRX4 and HPI Venture. It is unique in the fact that it is made from stainless steel and has several different version available.

Some key features:

-THE SKID MOUNT LOCATION IS SHIFTED 1/4″ FORWARD TO HELP WITH WEIGHT BIAS
-THE SKID MOUNT IS RAKED/ANGLED FORWARD TO HELP YOUR SKID OVER ROCKS WITH EASE
-PROVISIONS FOR FORWARD MOUNTS FROM OTHER POPULAR MANUFACTURERS
-LASER CUT STAINLESS STEEL LCG CHASSIS PROUDLY MADE IN AMERICA!!

There’s a bunch out there when you start looking around. I was going to get a brazin but I emailed them almost 2 weeks ago with no response. There’s a few others I’m looking at now though but I have a couple buddies running brazin and they love them but I’ll be going a different route

I was going to go with a classiccutcustoms and his trans but it was a little more than I was willing to spend right now. Toyzuki is a pretty desirable chassis also.
I ended up getting a flatgekko by procrawler out of Hungary, it should be here in a couple weeks and there will be a build thread about it in the 1.9 scale section. He offers skids for a few different transmissions or even a blank one. Depending on how much you want to spend they also offers link kits.
Check out some videos on YouTube, that’s how I ultimately made my decision

I recently finished a new build with the G-Speed TGH V3. I'm using the TGH forward motor mount, and dual servo mount, ar44 axles with overdrive gears and cromoly shafts in front, and standard heavy duty gears with cromoly shafts in the rear. The addtional 15% from the TGH transfer case, give me ~25% overdrive.

I absolutely love it, I've been attacking everything I can find with it lately. The components are all very well made, it's super easy to put together. I would highly recommend it. The only caveat is, there isn't a full kit, you have to order links, etc. separately. Not a big deal, but should be mentioned.

Don't mind the beat to death body shell. It's my 'testing' body, haha.

Thank you guys for responding. I picked up a lightly used Game Changer 4.2. Thanks again

From what I've heard/read, you won't be disappointed with the gc 4.2. Post a build thread so we can all follow along, and enjoy!

Cheers,
Gable
